Unauthorized use of legitimate identification and authentication data, however it was obtained, to mimic a subject different from the attacker. Impersonating, masquerading, piggybacking, and mimicking are forms of spoofing [1]


IS spoofing is a cyber crime?

Yes it is, as it could have a great harm to those internet users who are not aware of it or don’t want to use it for right reasons. As any thing that happen, without the in the knowledge of a person to whom it is happening ,is a crime so it is also comes in the category of crime, as this is a cyber or a internet based crime so it is a cyber crime.

No matter whatever the method of crime is, crime is crime. Whether is done for ease of one, for fun or for the need or for any other reason it is “crime”
